Open hopper screw pump (PC cake pump) is equipped with a feed hopper with screw conveyor to convey liquid or paste materials that cannot be self-flowing, especially viscous slurry, sewage sludge, industrial sludge with high dry solids concentration, dewatered sludge cake, etc. The pump can also be equipped with an agitator to prevent sedimentation.

Open hopper screw pumps convey viscous to semi-solid products with low or no flowability. They are equipped with a feed hopper with screw conveyor to optimally transfer the product to the conveying element. The hopper can be customized in various forms to maintain the smoothness of the feed, resulting in stress-free feeding and discharging. The inlet and outlet forms can be equipped with optional clamp quick-fit type, flange type, internal thread, external thread, and live joint. Pump body material can be divided into: cast iron, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316, 316L, according to the actual media requirements.
