AOBL EODD pump is a mechanically driven diaphragm pump that is very energy efficient because the drive does not require expensive compressed air. It is self-priming and seal-less. The electric double diaphragm pump can withstand abrasive particles and even dry rotation.

Pump body material: Aluminium, stainless steel, cast iron, PP and PVDF

Caliber: 1/2″ – 3″

Flow range: 12.8 LPM – 245 LPM

AOBL electric double diaphragm pump combines a unique set of proven technologies into one breakthrough pump. You get the versatility of a diaphragm pump with the efficiency and controllability of other displacement pumps.

The unique design ensures personnel safety, process operation and reduced operating costs. The pump offers a flexible solution that can work in a variety of applications under the most demanding conditions and requirements, whether it’s media transfer, vessel emptying or as a metering pump.

FAQ

Electric diaphragm pumps continue the technology of air operated diaphragm pumps and combine it with energy efficiency. In particular, it eliminates the need for an air compressor (or other air source).

The power source for pneumatic diaphragm pumps is air (usually an air compressor), while the power source for electric diaphragm pumps is the motor (following the pump). The energy cost of the latter is lower.

EODD pump is the abbreviation for electric operated double diaphragm pump, driven by an electric motor rather than compressed air.

One of the diaphragms in an electric diaphragm pump creates suction that draws a certain volume of fluid into one side of the pump. The other diaphragm will then drive the same volume of fluid through the outlet port on the other side of the pump. The operating principle is similar to that of an air operated diaphragm pump except that the power source is electricity.
